SBI Card PhonePe SBI Card – CVP new SBI CC launching

Overleveraged rejection
I'm trying to reduce Credit limits of my unused cards. How many months after initial application/rejection can I try again? Also on Phonepe it says "Track application"... any other way to apply in future?

I think we can re apply after 3 or 6 months. When you click on track application, it says as rejected. Once this is gone, you can reapply

saw a video in Youtube where he is saying limit merger is possible in sbi.
like if I have 3 SBI credit card with 1L,2L & 3L limit.
then we can contact customer care to merge the limits, then we can have a combined limit of 6L across all the 3 cards just like axis and hdfc.
Is it true? Has anyone experience regarding the same?

this may futher affect our overleverage issue.

Yes...it will worsen the situation....... New limit in cibil will be 6 lakhs x 3 = 18 Lakhs, when practically, usable limit is just 6 lakhs!
So, if I hold 3 axis cards with shared limit. Does my total credit be 3X limit or X limit? How is 3X even possible? At any possible time I cannot have more than X amount on the cards, so it has be X limit, isn't it?

If you check cibil all these shared limit axis cards reported as 3 different account thus your total credit limit becomes 3 times of what you see in your Axis account credit limit.

Yes that’s how it is reported
For HDFC also it’s same

Yeah, that;s the sad part.
You can practically use only upto X amount at a time, and ideally this is your credit exposure to Axis bank......but as of now, the exposure in cibil will show up as 3X.

I think we need to raise this because both theoretically and practically we can never cross the X limit. So 3X limit just doesn't make sense
