Got call from Indusind executive today regarding Celesta amex upgrade.

I have 19k points in Pinnacle, with upgrade they will adjust 14k cash to card.

Is there real benefit in this card to go for this upgrade? Need opinions

Yeah when i say i cant pay this much fee, he's like its super premium card sir, only offered to you sir, u r getting vouchers not an issue, we will waive off annual fee every year , its good upgrade bla bla bla🤣

Yeah better to ignore, only BMS offer is good.
Even if I could utilise 50k voucher, i still end up paying 9k gst for nothing

Yeah Pinnacle/indulge only provides zero balance exclusive account.
Worst upgrade it seems

This itself shows that it is not worth an upgrade and it tells you that he is pushing the unwanted product on you.

Yeah felt like a trap, ended call after getting full information.

Last time I got similar call for Pinnacle 15k fee with vouchers, 5k without vouchers.
I denied but after 6 months, i got ltf upgrade offer.

May be same happens this time also lets see🫣

Nope not a worthy move

Though, I do not consider myself an eligible person to comment on this topic, a few things that I would look at before thinking about upgrading are that it is on the Amex network, so acceptability is the issue, and also fees are higher than the benefits. If you're a frequent flyer, then you can think about domestic airport lounge access. Only BMS & Easydiner Prime membership doesn't justify the fees. In fact, Pinnacle at least offers you the complimentary zero-balance Exclusive account, which is damn good, as it offers the best zero forex debit card. Rest, you're experienced enough to take the right call. I hope your PSU's luck stays out till you decide about the upgrade.

I stay away from IndusInd for now, closed the card recently, could find any good cards according to my usecase.

I suggest If you find you can utilize the benifits easily, only then think for an upgrade, else ignore if you want to do manufactured spending

It is not at all worth. Stay away from them.
