Planning a trip to Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Thiruvannamalai

Hello all,
Looking for trip plan, hotel stay, and places to visit suggestions for a family of four (including 2 senior citizen parents)

The current plan is to book flight to chennai, get a self-drive car and go to Mahabalipuram.
Day 1 - stay in Mahabalipuram
Day 2 - Visit some places / temples and go to kanchipuram by evening, checkin at kanchipuram
Day 3, 4 - Visit around kanchipuram
Day 5 - checkout and go to Thiruvannamalai, checkin to hotel
Day 6 - Visit around kanchipuram
Day 7 - checkout, go back to chennai and get the return flight

Looking for suggestions to stay in Mahabalipuram, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvannamalai.
Also please suggest some not-to-be missed things to see in these places, things to buy, or places to eat.
Food preference: Vegetarian (preferably pure veg, without onion and garlic)

Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram are sorted mostly.
How are the hotels or place of stays in Thiruvannamalai? Most of the hotels that show up in MakeMyTrip looks average. Anything to be taken care of specifically or can we book any decent rated hotel?
The plan is to stay near the hill so that doing girivalam, ramana ashram etc are nearby.
Anyone who has been there, can pls share some things?

Chennai – Usually, the rainy season starts there. You will find plenty of places to stay near Mahabalipuram.

Mahabalipuram – Monuments, caves, temple, beach.

Kanchipuram is famous for temples and silk sarees. You will get the best quality at reasonable prices.

Thiruvannamalai – You will find only a few notable hotels. Sparsa and Sterling are good properties, along with a few 3-star range hotels and a government hotel in Thiruvannamalai. The rest are lodges. On weekends, it will be very crowded. During Karthika Masam, it will also be fully crowded, so please plan accordingly.

Thanks a lot @BK7 I will have a look at Sparsa.
In Amazon, we had seen hotels like Anantharaa hotel, Thaai residency, Ashreya suites, Hotel seasons, and La woods village resorts.
All of these are in the range of 3000 - 5000 per room per night.

Sparsa and Sterling I think are like above 10k per room per night - for 2 rooms, 2 nights it will be around 40k which is a little above our budget.
Anyway thanks for the pointers, I will see what best we can do.
