Planning an uncomplicated (1st) International Trip using miles / points

Update:
Sorry for the delayed response. Due to some family matters, the trip has been postponed to January/February 2026. I have already applied for a visa through an agent and hope to receive it by the end of the week.
  1. I am planning to get Accor Plus in January to save on status nights.
  2. With Accor Plus, I get access to Red Hot Rooms, which are quite VFM (as far as I know). However, is the availability of these rates confirmed for all dates, or is it dynamic in nature? Kindly shed some light on this. If the rates are indeed fixed throughout the offer period, some of the deals are truly hard to pass up.
  3. Accor Plus also provides 2 + 2 nights, which must be paid in currency. Should I make use of this benefit, and if yes, is there any property in Singapore that you would recommend targeting?
  4. I am also considering buying a lightweight stroller, but I am not sure if it makes sense for a 4‑year‑old (by January). I currently own an Evenflo Pivot Modular, but I find it too bulky to carry around in airports, although I have managed with it at domestic airports. Please suggest if a lightweight option would be more practical.
  5. Should I plan the trip for 7 nights or is that an overkill ? Any tentative itinerary would really help.
The Red Hot Rooms come and go, they are not consistent.

2+2 nights is good but they cant be used together and have to be split up. Also accor plus price has been increased and no more regional vouchers. Its less value for money now but if you find it worth it then sure. The Gold status you get will get you some nice upgrades.

7 nights is good enough. What is and whats not an overkill depends entirely on you.
