Plat Travel milestone points

I had recently procured a Plat Travel card via referral. Based on the terms mentioned in the site, one will receive 15K points on 1.9L and 25K points on 4L spends.

I was exploring the Amex app and I came across this tracker. (I have spent about 3K so far)



This suggests 7.5K and 10K for the two milestones. Bit confused here as to what is the correct MR points.

The official website is not talking about MR points for milestones. It's talking about Flipkart voucher or travel benefits on ATO. Could you please let me know if it's been changed? Thanks

That's for a reference of how much the points are worth but you can redeem the points in any way and form you like. 🙂

Yes once you reach milestone you get credited 7500 and balance 7500 just call care or chat with them on u r amex app they will immediately credit it bal 7500 making it 15000.

This is the worst part where we have to call for points. They should automate it.

You don't even need to call, just send a message on Chat support and they will take care of it! 🙂

For remaining 7500 and 15000 bonus point you have to touch with amex helpline after reaching the milestone, they will immediately credit those point.
There are too many thread explain this already.

and ask their exceptinal world class cc to give points which they had hidden hoping u forgot

or can it be used for Marriott Bonvoy conversion at the current normal 1:1?

I am getting these MRCC to Plat Travel upgrade emails from last Dec and as usual, they extend it every month.. now MB mostly gives a 30% bonus for conversion around Nov-Dec time, so if I can use the Plat card for 4L then I should get 50k (10k upgrade by paying fees + 15k for 1.9 + 25k for 4L) so 50k+15k bonus = 65k MB points, please correct me if my above MR assumption is wrong, thanks!!

If you upgrade also your mrcc can still be used and Mr points can be used for gold collection and also you can convert to marriot bonvoy.
Plat travel spend per calender year is 4lkhs you get 10k Taj voucher 40k Mr points plus your regular Mr points. It will be 1.9 lkhs 7.5 +7.5 15k in total upon reaching milestone you get 7500 MR balance you need to contact care and tell them you reached milestone they 2ill credit balance 7500 MR same when you reach 4lakhs mile stone you get 10k MR and call care they will credit 15k making total of 40kMR. On top of this you would be getting regular MR for spends apart from milestone bonus points.

Yes all spends will be considered in milestone spend but you will not get any rewards point on insurance spend

while i was searching for milestone credit card to pay my kids school fee. I got to know about this amex travel card and on paper looks nice. I have yearly 3.5L school fee and school do charge extra for credit card use. Is it worth getting this card whenever amex open application .

Yes, amex travel card is worth it if you spend 4lakhs per annum you get MR points plus 10k Taj Voucher which is valid for room booking or spa or dinning etc..

does the school accept AMEX cards? as most of them have Visa/MasterCard only and due to low acceptance, had to close AMEX MRCC card
