PNB Rupay select has annual fee?

I've applied for PNB Rupay select last year with 300 Joining fee. Today I received annual fee of 750 + GST in the statement when there are other normal transactions as well. Is the waiver criteria of per quarter over? Or this is just a lazy system?

talk to customer care if you have some transactions in each quarter

Verify your usage in the last one year and if there were trxns (at least one trxn) in each of the last 4 calendar quarters, send an eMail to their Customer Care and ask for refund. They will take a week or 10 days - but will credit the money in all certainity.

Anything is considered as spend only.

ANY type of spending is OK.
At least 1 trxn in each calendar quarter should be there in the last 1 year.
Then, the charges are reversed, only on a request.

I had upgraded my card to Select last year in August. I wasn't charged any joining fee at the time. But I saw 750 + gst 18% annual fees in November statement even though I have been using the card every month . I was busy at that time and forgot later. I remembered just now and called cc . After 10 minutes call ,she raised a complaint for fee waiver. I have received the message saying the same along with the SR#.

Also I would like to rant about how this particular cc executive was rude and condescending towards me for no reason. The whole time either she was trying to get my identity verified again and again or trying to justify the annual charge. Also at last she said that your annual fees might not be reversed . The whole time I was polite and to the point with her.

Yes I received a text from PNBCCD. It says 'your request for card **** for Fee Waiver has been registered as <sr no>'.

In future, do remember NOT to forget.

PNB automatically charges the annual fee. Whether you use the card or not.

If you had spent at least once each quarter, in the last 1 year, then write an email to them for reversal of fee charged. They will do so in 3-4 days time.

No need to talk to anyone.

Update : Got my fee reversed yesterday. Amount credited 750/- and 135/- separately.
