Points on HDFC CC bill payment

I have a HDFC DCB credit card through which I used to pay rent using the HDFC Bill pay portal. I used to get the usual 3.3% rewards points till December 2023, but I have noticed today that I am no longer receiving any points now. Also, the transactions are now marked as "RENTAL NON BBPS BACKBASPAYNOW" instead of the earlier "HDFC BILL PAY PAYNOW".
Is there any change in policies that I have missed out?

Well, rent payment is excluded for CB previously also. Now the bank has changed the MCC, and you've stopped receiving the CB.
