Possibility of Axis Atlas Devaluation?

InDebtEd

TF Buzz
Credit Card Noob here, zeroed in on Atlas as the best possible card for my future spends.

Now that Axis has devalued a majority of it's cards, have there been news or rumors on the possibility of atlas also getting devalued as I suspect a lot of people to be shifting towards it for their Travel spending. Should I go ahead with the application or wait for any impending devaluation?

Axis Atlas rewards seems reasonable and sustainable. Also there are already restrictions on MCCs in place for accelerated rewards. Also, atlas doesnt provide any special discounts as such to devalue. So, devaluating this card means killing it totally!

Does Atlas give edge miles for government transactions such as Income Tax? Does it count for getting milestone benefits? Thanks.

I dont think they will devalue atlas card for atleast for a year. There are so many cards in same mid category which provides good return one way or another like amex plat travel or vistara cards if considering only flights airmiles benefits. If they devalue atlas now they will kill it. No one will use that.

1. Heavy usage like able to achieve one of the milestones within 6 months - Go for it, don't think.
2. Normal usage but able to achieve milestones with 12 months or more - Prepare for the worst. But still can go for it.

Same applies to any reward card in India, you never know what might happen next month... If you're ok with alterantive options provided by that bank, go for it otherwise "well there is cashback for monthly credits" to not think like this..
