Priority Pass Fraud! Charged for a never used service

Greetings Technofino community,

This is my first post and sadly, it’s due to an issue I’m facing.

I have an SBI PRIME Vistara credit card, which came with a Priority Pass membership.

Issue:

While checking transactions on my other SBI card, I happened to notice a charge on the Vistara CC. On 8/4/25, there was a deduction labeled Priority Pass for ₹2310.66, along with GST charges (2 x ₹207.96). There was also a Principal Debit and Credit of ₹0.58, though I'm not sure what that’s about.

I reached out to both SBI and Priority Pass support. Here's what I got:

Priority Pass: They said they can’t help or even view the usage since it’s managed by the issuing bank. They asked me to contact SBI directly.

SBI Credit Card support: They mentioned that a usage was recorded on 1st Feb 2025 at a lounge named “Enclave Lounge.” They said they'll get back to me with more details by Monday.


The problem is:

I have never used the Priority Pass—not even once.

I did no travel in Q1 2025 and was in Chennai the entire time.

I checked, and there’s no Enclave Lounge at Chennai Airport.

The card hasn’t been lost or misplaced—it's been with me the whole time and still looks unused (no swipe marks, etc.).


Can anyone help or advise what I should do next? I’m not okay with paying for a system error or a service I haven’t even used.

Usually this happened when you use the card and they enter guest too. However you mentioned that you have never used the card then ask them the lounge slip and boarding pass scan details. SBI will revert the charges, once you ask for proof of transaction.

Got it! I will ask them these documents once they revert back to me on Monday. Let's see what happens.
