I have come across several discussions regarding the purchase of gift vouchers to meet annual spending requirements and achieve milestones. I have a Flipkart card and need to spend 2 lakh to qualify for a fee waiver. If I use my Flipkart credit card to buy an Amazon gift card via grabdeals, will it count towards my annual spending? Additionally, will I receive the 1.5% cashback that the card offers for online purchases?

Actually I want to tell you that to save 590rs. you don't actually need to spend 1.6 Lakh unnecessarilly. Spend whenever really required and always pay on time. During renewal request for fee waiver and if not agreed consider the benefits it offered and take the decision to continue or cancel.

But, it's your money and up to you what you did with it.

Regarding your questions:

As per this, https://www.axisbank.com/docs/default-source/default-document-library/cashback-tncs---final.pdf

Purchase of gift cards on Flipkart & Myntra not allowed.

other places, it will cover annual fee waiver and you'll get 1.5% + anything extra that website offfers.

My advice is don't spend unnecessarily, unless you're getting value out of it.
