Q About Expiring Neu Coinst

TL;DR: If I buy clothes using Neu Coins on date of coin expiry and later return the clothes, will I get the Neu coins back with some extended validity or will they be considered to have been expired? Has anyone tried doing it?

(Context: I had 2000 Neu coins expiring today (won under some milestone offer, 450 expired last month also :/). Now, I tried ordering some gold/ silver coins from Tanishq/ Tata Neu but it would not let me pay for those with Neu Coins. For some reason, it was not allowing me to pay on Croma also with Neu coins (glitch, was able to see the option later). I finally ended up buying random things from Big Basket.)

My question is, if I buy some clothes from Tata Cliq using these coins and return/ cancel the order later, will they give me the Neu coins with extended validity or will they be considered used and expired?

Unless they have changed their T&C, refunded coins will not have extended validity

I remember reading that Neu coins' validity is refreshed whenever any coins are earned, is that not the case?

I tried searching about it and multiple FAQs still say validity is 365 days from last earn or use. But maybe it doesn't apply here since this was a milestone reward.

I ordered & cancelled but validity was old only & was expiring in a month.

Don't go with FAQs.
