Today my account got upgraded to preferred, I currently have the Instant Kit Plat DC(Max Ac)
1)How can I get the Preferred Plat DC with the name engraved on it?
2)If I order a cheque book now will it have preferred printed on it?

You will get preferred logo dc and chq book
For dc issue it’s free

Go to debit card upgrade section. Order platinum card. Preferred would be engraved on it. It's free.

1) login to netbanking -> cards -> debit card -> upgrade card and select platinum debit card. You will receive the preferred platinum dc with your name even though it's not mentioned in the upgrade page.
2) Not sure about cheque book

I opened max account 1 month back and at the time of opening I asked the person at the branch to upgrade my account to classic as soon as it opens, I called her after a week and asked her to upgrade she said ok but I got no text message for upgrading, then after one more week I again called her she said ok but no text message, then yesterday I visited the branch she immediately upgraded my account.
Either you can visit the branch and ask them to upgrade
OR
You can maintain 2L in your account and you will get pre approved offer, but this can take few months

I too got upgrade offer from standard to classic.
while upgrading I'm getting option to change branch, will that update to my base branch? & in future if they downgrade which would be my branch?
 
I tried calling the preferred banking customer care but it says that your mobile no. is not registered in the preferred banking
It takes a few days (3-4 working) to like register your number under the Premium Customer Care

Btw it really makes no diff tbh; at least for Preferred and Classic customers; the people who answer regular phone banking calls; are the same ones to answer for Preferred and Classic customers😐
