Query: First Year Free SBI CC (Salary A/C in SBI)

I have my salary account in SBI. I got a call (Marketing may be) but I was in a hurry so couldn't finish the whole conversation.
I said that SBI is not offering LTF CC and he said that since I have a salary account, I can get an SBI Elite or another higher version CC (I forgot which card he said) and that card will be first year free. Then at the last month, I can get that card downgraded to SimplyClick and it will just be 499/- + taxes then onwards.

Is this accurate?
