Query on Canara bank rupay select debit card

Guys, I want to open a new bank account only for getting the RSDC.
I’m confused between BOI and Canara Bank.

I’ll be opening the account offline at my hometown address next week, and the passbook will serve as address proof.
Since I visit there only once a year, please suggest which bank is better - one where any future issues can be handled fully online, as I won’t be able to visit the branch frequently.

In canara select ac , how many cards we can apply , same card type or different like some need only rsdc i need one visa debit card will old card get closed automatically if i apply new one, are all works at once ? My MAB is 20k .

There are plans to keep SBI, BoB, PNB, Canara banks only in future in PSU sector.

I have the aspire account in canara and want to apply for rsdc now but have queries

What are the dates of 3 month quarter cycle?
1) is it like card activation date to exact 3 months from there on for 1st quarter or
2) is it 1st jan to 31st march for 1st quarter or
3) it it 1st april to 31th june for 1st quarter or
4) is it like card delivery date to exact 3 months from there on for 1st quarter

Also is it true that we can only order once in a month and then have to wait for 1 month before we apply for another one?

if let's suppose i activate my 1st rsdc on 1st dec, 2025 and my 2nd rsdc on 10th nov, 2026 then if i cancel only my 1st rsdc before 1st dec, 2026 so i still have time till 10th nov, 2027 to cancel my 2nd rsdc and can enjoy benefits on 2nd rsdc till 10th jan, 2027. Assuming in all of this i won't be charged a single rupee and will be able to actually take free benefits for 2 years?

If you have account number then download canara ai1 app, register using Adhaar details, then apply from app for debit card.

when you block any canara card you need to pay Rs 150 + gst charges on each card

I have zero balance account in canara and I hold 2 RSDC.

It's 22 days for me, canara bank says it takes 10 working days after card generation.

Benefits are double for holding 2 debit cards? Does both the card will have same name or it is a joint account? Annual fees are doubled as well?

I think this fee only applies when a new one is requested after blocking the old one which is known as the replacement fee.

You mean when some people don't want to pay Debit Card AMC and they then block their DC, Canara will not charge this 150+gst charge?
