Query regarding application of IDFC First credit card

Someone called me today and asked if I need an IDFC credit card. I asked her which one was available for me. She couldn't clearly tell me that, just said based on my cibil I would get classic, wealth etc. I was not convinced and didn't show interest. But then I remembered, I tried to apply from my side in January 2024 and only the secured wow card was available for me. But I want a good IDFC card, for now Classic will work as it offers complementary railway lounge access. My cibil is 780+. So, should I wait a little more?

I have closed my idfc account 1 month ago but I received messaged from idfc and I entered dob and registered Mobile no with bank and got this.

Yes pre approved. At most they can ask for kyc.

Applied for Idfc Select and after all verification done and 2 days later today received approval message.

Strange idfc verification employee didn't asked any kyc documents despite my account have closed now just taken live photo of me and my house.

It was not pre approved for me. It was pre qualified. So just tried it without any approval expectations and approved after verification.
6 months ago they rejected my millennia too.

For pre approved I also don't know, many people got by doing normal transactions regularly, I also did it same but didn't receive pre approved offers from 1.5 years. So I closed account and was thinking to open new wealth account.
