Query regarding Cashback SBI card and instant discount offers.

I am aware of the info that SBI card forfeits any reward point or cashback that has been earned against an instant discount offer. But my question is if on a product Flipkart (or any merchant) is offering the same instant discount on all banks' (i.e. not specific to only SBI cards) credit and debit card including SBI Cashback card, will SBI card then also take back the cashback after a few months?

SBI doesn't reverse it by the next month, they usually take 7-8 months.

that's so many months right... if they take so long, there is risk of people closing by the card sometimes and there's nothing they can do after that

Yeh toh customer care bata payega, kuch customer care kahenge ki sir yeh possible nhi, usi time par call cut kardena.

Phirse call lagana till you find one, who can transfer the limit.

Waise pehle limit transfer then close karwana, ho sakta hai LTF karde simplyclick ko if kaafi old ho gaya ho.

You never know with sbi because they reverse the after few months but not immediately. Is the instant discount application on all the cards or only select cards?

I think for hdfc , sbi , axis I think . This restriction is there for every time when getting instant discount or while sale season Only?
