Mostly will try to give them access via ffp program and or biz ticket.
That seems to be the most viable option for me as of now

Personally tried for one family member.
RM made me open bank account for family member to get add on card issued.
Took approximately a week as video kyc failed had to go to branch
Also what I check that in some lounges you can pre book lounges it is mentioned on pp website.
It requires a 6 pound charge but not sure if they will allow my family member to use that access

If your family members are existing HDFC account holders, then you can easily apply for it on the netbanking portal yourself. Without an account, your add-on card members need to sign a form and submit it at the branch. You will receive it in around 7-10 days. But you can request the PP as soon the add-on cards are approved(will be visible in your account) before even getting the add-on CCs delivered to you.

I might just redeem sapphiro international lounge access as well via dreamfolks if lounge is listed there

I received my set of add-ons and PPs in 4 days though. Since you are getting it later on, I suggest you open accounts for all members and apply for the add-ons. That way they will issue different numbers on all cards. Through physical form, they are issuing the same number as the primary card for some reason. This is what my friend experienced last month.

That is true. Many PP lounges in Thailand had barely any crowd. They were pretty good too.
Good selection of food, champagnes, wines and even showers.

But if someone is looking for THE BEST lounge then those are ones you get from Business/first class tickets which are not accessible otherwise.

Do they match the name on the Priority Pass with the name on the boarding pass at airport lounges in Thailand?

1.International lounge access being purchased is not what i have heard of
you can give your priority pass and get a guest charge of 27 USD

Your question is so general - the answer to both can be "Yes", "No" and "Maybe".

Many lounges sell access. Many airlines esp. ME3 sell lounge access and upgrades for various sums of money.

Other sites like LoungeBuddy etc. can be used instead of PP - but they're rarely worth it vs. just sitting at a restaurant/bar in the airport.

Heheheh... again depends. Which airline and which type of upgrade. For instance - Air India Upgrade+ I think doesn't allow lounge access - at least that isn't spelled out in the T&C. Some others may. I think TK does, also Star Alliance Upgrade Awards also allows lounge access.

Most airports with high passenger traffic will have decent lounges and have multiple options to choose from. You can access business/first-class lounges through higher tier FFP status without a J/F ticket. Also, you will be surprised to know that you can access some business/first class lounges with PP too. 😉
Next time, you should check out the Oman Air lounge in BKK. The lounge feels a bit dated, but the food is incredible.

True, star alliance gold can get you access to some business class lounges. But the best of the best lounges like The private room or Emirates first class cannot be accessed whatever your FFP status is.

I checked out Oman Air lounge, tbh I didn't like it that much in terms of space. Food was good but I felt the lounge is way too small. Like probably the smallest in BKK international.
On the other hand I did like the Air France lounge next to it.
All these Airline lounges look tiny when you compare it to the Royal orchid lounge. It's humongous in size. Star alliance gold gets you to Business class section but not first class.

But I get your point. PP & FFP status can indeed get you to some amazing lounges.

Yes they did for me at all the lounges I visited in Thailand.
Oman Air, Air France, Bangkok Air lounge etc.

No. Every airlines has different policies.

The ME3 tightened their belts just before Covid and cut a massive number of perks. Today I think EK and the other 2 as well don't allow lounge access for business light and award fares in their flagship and possibly other lounges.

ME3s sell lounge access as well. So as a Y pax you can buy access to a J lounge. Similarly a J pax can buy access to the F lounge.

Yes... as long as the lounge allows using someone else's card - which they usually don't have a problem with.

In India, they usually don't check. However, outside of India, as @CARDBITRAGE mentioned, they do.
