I recently applied for the YES FIRST Business Credit Card and got the Rupay variant. The welcome letter mentions 2 domestic lounge accesses per quarter and 6 international lounges per month.
I have few questions. If anyone holds this card or have knowledge please help me-
1. I’ve read somewhere that the international lounge access is only available for Visa or Mastercard variants. Is that true? Because the annual fee is the same for all variants, and it feels unfair if Rupay users miss out on that benefit. Also, is there any way to switch my Rupay card to Visa or Mastercard without closing the existing card and reapplying?
2. How exactly does international lounge access work for Rupay/JCB cards? I didn’t receive any Priority Pass, so wondering if it’s handled directly via JCB tie-ups or something. Are JCB lounges actually accepted widely outside India?
3. Finally, the yes bank terms and conditions are so confusing? What are the spend requirements for being eligible for lounge? Somewhere its mentioned 30K per quarter and somewhere its mentioned 75K per quarter.
