[Question] Pre approved SBI Simplysave Rupay card

I received an SMS mentioning "Now make UPI payments with SimplySAVE RuPay SBI Card! Get your pre-approved credit card.. With link to apply"
When I tried applying, I got the message that I cannot avail this service at this moment.
Tried around 3 times.

Holding SBI simplyclick.
What could be wrong here. Anyone got this Pre approved offer?

It is based on several factors like existing credit cards, spend pattern, milestone spends etc. It can be hard to predict which is more useful for you. You should try once SBI cash back.

Have SBI CB! Needed an sbi card for sales offers and that’s the sole purpose thus sought views on future upgrades options out of two to premium cards.

In my opinion simply save will be good but if you have fuel purchases and don't have any fuel card from other banks than bpcl you can take.

Not worth taking for me. That way Union Bank is also there besides Indian Bank and IOB etc and many more PSUs but not worth as there are no offers on it. Private banks have steady stream of offers and Canara also has on ClearTrip flights, hotels and Flipkart grocery, Yatra, Zomato. There's 3 reasons I got RuPay cards:
- Regular offers from NPCI
- Very easy to "spend" via UPI, add-on cards from certain banks get UPI on their own number=double rewards
- Regular offers on ECOM websites, if you have in addition to Visa/MC, offers apply again

Any add-on RuPay credit cards have UPI working on addon cardholder's separate mobile number - this is true of SBI, HDFC, IndusInd, Axis, BOB and IDFC. So if there any offers on RuPay CC on UPI, both primary and add-on can benefit from them. If you know any tricks to do RuPay CC to bank via UPI (I won't / can't share any tricks here), it's easier to complete spend targets rather than Visa/Mastercards
