On a lighter note I know probably they will just say bro and lite not allowed for virtual DC.

But there is no harm in trying.

They didn't open BOB Lite account for me because my old Mini KYC account was closed. Their system doesn't allow opening BOB Lite account for existing customers so They opened BOB Advantage account for me.
Now, I have no regrets about not getting BOB Lite account. I'm happy with my two LTF virtual debit cards: Rupay Platinum and VISA Platinum.

BOB has been discriminating against zero balance account holders since the beginning. BOB B3 and BOB Lite are both zero balance accounts. In B3, you can't get a virtual Rupay Platinum card, and in Lite, they do not allow you to apply for a virtual debit card.

Now ,the app is updated and one can check their CRIF score free of cost for every financial year .
Requesting for second time will incurr ₹20+gst .

In BOB Advantage Physical debit card is paid but you can get virtual debit card as free. In BOB Lite you will get Rupay Platinum debit card as free if your maintain QAB of 3K.
