This was badly needed. I've observed multiple banks delaying statement email by 4 days to entire week (especially kotak). Its thanks to mobile banking apps that I always keep track individually or this could've ended badly for someone else who is not active user of mobile banking.
You should've raised the card closure request then asked the retention team to transfer limit from SimplyClick to cashback card. You have to keep 10k in SimplyClick card and you can transfer the remaining limit.
