RBL Signature+ Debit Card Devalued - No More Cashback Voucher on Credit Card Payment & Gift Card related MCC.

While you continue to make the most of your RBL Bank Signature+ Debit Card, we would like to update you with respect to the updated calculations for spends threshold and transactions that will be excluded for availing Monthly Voucher/Annual Voucher/waiver of annual fee, effective 01st May 2024:

1.International transactions and/or transactions carried out on the Merchant Category Codes (MCC) listed below will be excluded from availing Monthly and Annual vouchers and will also not be considered for availing the benefits of the waiver of Annual Fee:

6012- Financial Institutions – Merchandise, Services, and Debt Repayment
6051 - Non-Financial Institutions – Foreign Currency, effective through 19 January 2024, Non-Fiat Currency and effective from 20 January 2024 Liquid and Cryptocurrency Assets (for example: Cryptocurrency), Money Orders (Not Money Transfer), Account Funding (not Stored Value Load), Travelers Cheques, and Debt Repayment
6540- Non-Financial Institutions – Stored Value Card Purchase/Load
6211- Security Brokers/Dealers

2. The minimum spends threshold for being eligible for Monthly vouchers with effect from 1 May 2024 will be INR 25,000 for current account customers.

Mere pas Mastercard hai bhi nhi but dusre mastercard wale bolte hai nahi chal raha hai.

I remember, do check if POS transactions are enabled with the same limits as online.

Trans won't go through in SP DC if POS are off.

I adjusted online and swipe/pos to the same daily amount etc , lets see after a day, ill update here

Hey Guys I made the minimum due payment of my BOB card on both shriram one and sbi unipay using RBL signature plus debit card just to check. The one done from shriram one has reflected immediately. Should I go ahead and make rest of the payment on shriram one, assuming it will give the 1% cashback if I spend 25k there.

Sri Ram one app - MCC is 4900 for SHRIRAM FINANCE Ltd on the payment gateway.

You can also call RBL and ask your transaction MCC Code.

Seems both unipay and shriram one has 4900 MCC. RBL customer support also told the 25k minimum transaction criteria is for current account. For savings it's still 10k.

Then wait. Or re-check your transaction.

Last month there was no such condition. Deval happened post 1st May.

Also, P+ is toll.

that may be the reason!! How can I Confirm the MCC of my transaction ? and should I write to customer care ?
