No no called in morning they created request for ICON then evening I requested them to please convert it to World Safari LTF and somehow got a good CC executive who was very helpful in changing the already created request to change to ICON LTF instead created a request to change it to World Safari LTF

Mine Icon LTF card got delivered. Then after some thought I asked for convert to safari but executive is denied. Even she moved the called to senior she also told the same. Only complimentary international lounge access is missing with ICON card even being as higher varient

I also told them same thing but they told no further upgrade offer. Called them 2 times. Did you cancel the request first, then proceeded for 2nd request?

Nope I just requested to CC executive and she was really helpful probably the most helpful CC executive I've ever met she checked then she said we have to cancel request first she did it all then applied for a World Safari LTF too.

Was seriously lucky to have got her on line because I am sure 99% of other executives wouldnt have done it

Till now have not received mail saying its upgraded just got a Service Request number will confirm when I get mail saying its upgraded

I called them - they told me there is no upgrade for my account (made transactions of 10K on Shoprite). Temp deactivated my card and placed a closure request - waiting for their back end team to call me with their retention offer.

My Shoprite was cancelled - just got a message. I did not get any call from their back end team.

Call 1 - I requested for upgrade they said no upgrade available for me from Shoprite. I said will close card she said to clear dues and raise cancellation request.

Call 2 - Called after 5 mins different agent picked I said previous agent assured me ltf but call disconnected. He said to hold and after 2 mins said no offer available

Bad luck it seems they already upgraded by evening so cant change to World Safari LTF. I have to use ICON LTF only

I had called yesterday for RBL Shoprite card upgrade several times but every time executives declined my request by saying that no card upgrade offers are available for you. Today I called again and this time the request for card upgrade was accepted.

I called for my upgrade request today, First they said FYF Safari, and I said I was looking for LTF. I told the agent that everyone else is getting it and why not me 🙂 He did hold my line for 3 minutes, and boom! registered for an upgrade. They said the upgraded card would reach me in 7 working days.

I am unlucky ! First time they said no upgrade offers I insisted for world safari LTF agent replied I can only get the card with joining fee of 3k.

I called them again after an hour this time also same reply but agent said he can get me as FYF i said don't need .

My spends were above 2 Lakhs on RBL Zomato last year but they r not offering me LTF.
Also recently dey revised my limit to 51000 on shoprite card.
Better to close this card and move on.

I just spoke to 3 executives:
1 , No upgrade offers but we can downgrade the card , you need to apply in the website for your desired card
2, Ready to upgrade either Play BMS or World safari
3, Ready to take upgrade request for icon but fees details need to talk back end team once request placed.

I’m not placed any request at present, I hope they create unvarying procedures for card upgrade like other banks.

Don't call drop a mail to close card their retention team will callback ask them whatever you need first they might say FYF but pushing them further they grant LTF . Later also drop another mail confirming LTF !

I chose BMS Play as I don't do international transactions and I have been trying to get Play Credit card since last year but they rejected my application twice. Now my upgrade request has been processed, Play credit card is showing in RBL My Card app. Thanks for the trick.

Hello Guys,

One big news I wanted to share with all of you.
Currently RBL is upgrading LTF Shoprite to LTF World Safari if you got LTF Shoprite from Zomato Edition.

Whoever has it, just call RBL & say that the Reward Rate is very poor with Shoprite & I don't want to continue with it.
Also ask if there is any upgrade offer for World Safari/ICON.
Based on your profile there is 99% probability that you will be offered either one of them. Many people has got it.
