Redgirraffe - HDFC charge category

I had paid my rent through Redgirraffe on 20th Dec through DCB and it was marked as insurance spends.
Has anyone paid after HDFC changed T&C (1st Jan, 2023) through Redgirraffe and checked if it's still insurance category or rent category?

Just checked my statement, and it seems now that rent payment through PayZapp is showing as "PZRENT NON BBPS MUMBAI".
Earlier, it used to be "PAYZAPP BILLDESK NON BBMUMBAI".

Seems like they "fixed" the bug, and now we can't get rewards on rent payment anymore 🙁

Yes. No reward points when paying rent through PayZapp. However, paying rent through HDFC. BillPay still gives rewards.

Confirmed from my latest credit card statements.

HDFC has stopped reward points on RedGiraffe even directly via BillPay now. It comes as RENTAL NON BBPS and no reward points, although it doesn't seem that they are imposing any additional charges, yet.

I think rent and wallet loads are excluded from renewal milestone

Rent and wallet are both counted for annual spend criteria. I can confirm this based on my own spends on Infinia

I am not using the card now for rent payments once it started showing PZrent. I had confirmed the annual fee inclusions once with customer care hence spoke about it. But yes, as per T&Cs, it will charge extra 1% on payzap since it considers redgiraffe as third party
