Regarding closure of credit card

Currently I have
Icici amazon pay ltf
Icici coral ltf
Icici mmt signature ltf (1st card)
Icici saphiro dual (Fyf)

Recently I have mail to icici for convert saphiro to ltf.

So what can I do if they denied to convert saphiro to ltf.

No more spending with icici.

Please share suggestions 🙏

My friend is having 8 year old paid ICICI coral card. Last year he got free coral rupay card. If he is closing paid coral credit card, does it have any impact on the credit score as it is the oldest credit he is having.

Total cards: 2. 1 paid coral, LTF rupay coral.


ICICI is not ready to convert paid coral to LTF.

wait for 1 or 2 months (since your friend got rupay), mostly it wont create new account 100% but you also may have doubts so that wait period, then close paid coral.

account still active and continue as usual.

but do note close 'card level' not 'account level' or speak with support and told close paid coral specifically.

as mentioned, nothing happens to cibil.
