Regarding Idfc wealth program

Hello everyone
I opened wealth account around a year back with initial funding of ten Lakh withdrawn from account after few days after having discussion with branch staff and they said they will not downgrade my account.
After that i use receive mails from idfc that program criteria is not met but branch says no issue and the account will not be downgraded.
But today i receive mail from idfc mentioning my customer id and it is mentioned that account will be downgraded within next 30 days if criteria not met.I think this time they will downgrade my account and hence i need your suggestion to how to stay in wealth variant or if anyone has experienced such situation in past then what can be possible solution.

We shud opt for account type which we can manage..Just for status symbol, if we opt for higher variant then bank will not allow the same as each perk offered by bank comes at a cost.


It is a myth that bank check balance only once in a quarter...Average quarterly balance means, they do sum total of eod balance and divide by 90.


Downgrade the account that can be easily managed rather begging RM. Do not listen to half baked information on this forum.

My account is still in wealth status. it should be downgraded as per mail i received previously but they did not downgrade..

My account is still in wealth status. it should be downgraded as per mail i received previously but they did not downgrade..

They never did till now and I have never maintained the required balance in my select account for the past 10 months. They keep bombarding remainders on email , we can ignore.

Do they look at AMB or AQB or End of month/quarter?

It's AMB. Someone even suggested to maintain 10L for a month for select to wealth upgrade this way.

I request to upgrade my account in wealth with funding but my RM told me you need to maintain regularly otherwise we downgrade account varient in future. Again he said we have another option if you invest ( buy tata AIA plan) then we provide you non maintaining feature with your and also upgrade your account in wealth within a week. Please suggest what to do. He ask around 1L+ investment in this plan

No insurance or ULIP is worth the Reward points
Completely avoid for any bank

Anyways IDFC wealth is of no use now
