Regret after closing Credit Card - Share your experience

We all post how to get credit cards here . But sometimes we close existing credit cards and then regret later thinking it was a big mistake.

Let's share our experiences so we can learn from them.

My regret - Closing One Card as it was FD based. After using for an year closed it but then one card never gave me a card . Really regret as I will miss one card offers and probably never get it again. 🙁

Yes, they were all chargeable cards and I wanted all LTF cards 😉

I have also closed RBL Titanium Delight and SC Super Value Titanium cards ! Lol

I closed my Axis Ace card shortly after it got devalued. I don’t regret closing it, but I regret throwing it away. Would’ve been so good to keep it as a memory!

In the early 1900s after advent of telegram, Americans used to omit letters from conventional Queens English to save on telegram costs ! This became the present American English.

I favour Sulphuric over Sulfuric and Colour over Color ! Lol

Couldn't get through the idiots at Citibank to change my address and let the CC stay idle.
They closed it and now they don't issue CC.

Not sure how much this is to regret.

Downgraded SBI Air India Signature Card after earning and redeeming over 2.2L miles to Simply Click which I closed eventually 2 years back. No SBI card since. But had a good time with Air India card back then.

Closed Zomato Edition card & Axis Ace recently and No feeling for them 😬

And coming soon Magnus would join this Club in Sept. It will be probably the only card closure that’ll pinch a bit 💔

I regretted closing my Citi savings account. But when Axis acquired it, I realised I dodged a bullet. 🤣
