Axis Magnus Rent payment via Magnus other than RedGiraffe

Hey
I want to make a deposit to my new flat and I was thinking Magnus might be a good option. But this red giraffe is really confusing

Whenever I’m opening Payzapp they are saying account not found. And they want proper due date for rent and the payment window will open only 7 days before. But I just want to make a deposit, that too with 100 rs first to see if it’s actually working.

Is there any other easy way to make rent payment with minimum fees and still get counted towards reward points and milestone spends?

Does this work? I see that we have to enter tuitions/school name and then it proceeds for account details.

Cred also has option of maintenance payment by adding account details?
Has anyone used this option to pay maintenance fees to verify the MCC code?

MCC code is not rent - have verified it using Cashback card

Education fee is not excluded for magnus but for cashback card

No haven't used cred as of now
Only bad thing about PayTM for me is that they wait for the money to be settled from bank and then only they pay the receiver so exact 48 hours for me

So you used Paytm education fee option(tution/day care/hostel) to pay maintenance?

I use it to pay rent (almost 50k) a month

Thanks, will give it a try next month as current month maintenance I paid through debit card, as NoBrokerhood considers it as rent

Actually am too lazy to try out new apps but should use cred a couple of times to use the first time offers

Paytm gives me 30k points which is 300 rupis in paytm vouchers in lieu of paying 800 rupis as surcharge

Yeah that's alright. I just though my deposit is 90k so I can achieve 1L milestone for this month. As for rent it wouldn't be possible, it's only 30k

you can pay deposit.. finish full registration on RG.. Send RG an email on the deposit amount ( it will be mentioned in your registration agreement). They will raise one time bill. you pay.. then write back to them and amount will be chgd back to rent.. i have done it.. they are responsive.. only condition is that deposit shd match what is in the agreement..
