What is best way for rent payments (Monthly rent amount: 55000) given following cards
1. Amex Platinum Travel
2. Amex Gold
3. HDFC Tata Neu
4. ICICI Emeralde
5. Axis Airtel
6. Axis Atlas (Receiving soon)
7. ICICI Rubyx

Read multiple threads around using redgirafee, payzapp, mobikwik etc. But didn't get anything concrete

Good thing about rentepe is that they accept all cards directly on their platform (except amex) unlike redgirraffe which you have to do via payzap. Only axis possible directly on RG

Payzap has stopped accepting non hdfc cards now.

So if someone has IDFC vistara or SBI vistara cards then this new platform is useful

I paid on rentenpe using SBI simplyclick for getting annual fees waiver + clear trip voucher. Also I will earn on paying the bill via DC, so effectively net net positive. you can get similar milestone based cards, best would be DCB metal.

What about this?
Top up mobikwik wallet with 2.95% additional cost using AMEX platinum travel & do direct bank transfer. It will give milestone benefits ~8-10%

yes, you can pick any of the milestone cards

some other options..

We can pay directly on IDFC app with redgirraffe ID using IDFC credit card (even if we registered with Payzapp). Same for SC but no good enough cards. Haven't found out a way for SBI though.

I have 1.2 lakh rent payment split into 80K and 40K every month. Which is the best card for that which overcomes the extra fees that is levied?

For IDFC vistara use IDFC app to add Redgiraffe as a biller

Putting some numbers if somebody wants to pay rent through Amex plat travel (Only rent payments on this card)

Say monthly rent 35,000
Annual spend on rent 4,20,000

Spend 4,20,000 on Amex plat travel (Pay rent through mobikwik wallet with 2.95% additional charge)

Total money spend
Rent = 420000 + (42000*2.95/100) = 4,32,390 (12,390 additional payment)
Annual card fee = 5900
Total additional payment = 12,390 + 5900 = 18,290

Rewards earned
Completing 4 lacs milestone = 40000 MR (Membership rewards)
Regular reward points = 8400 MR
Total = 48,400 MR + 10k Taj voucher

With 18,290 additional payment, one will get 48400 MR rewards, i.e. ~30,000 MR & 10k Taj Voucher

Considering 1MR=Rs1 & 10k Taj voucher, it is approximately 9.5% return

Bonus (Not included in above calculation)
1. Annual fee for first year is 4130
2. Welcome bonus (applicable for only for first year) 10000 MR
3. Bonus offers while transferring MR to Marriot etc

Caveats
1. Not good to individuals who don't like travel rewards (12,390 additional payment would be loss)
2. Good returns only upto 35k rent per month (OR Upto 4 lacs annually)
3. This card will be exclusive for rent payments (Additional card can be availed through family members)

Where do you get 1MR = 1Rs value? It's very rare

Consider 1MR = 0.5-0.6INR and 10K Taj voucher as 6500 INR. Don't consider any bonuses and redo the calculation. That is more likely to be the realistic return
