Its a organic thread and will be kept updated as new information emerges. Banks are reluctant to issue rupay platinum card so in many banks you have to try multiple times. Best way to get is by calling customer care on call.

1. AU BANK-

For new customers- you will get Rupay platinum card by default on online digital account

For existing customers-

Apply for a RuPay Platinum Debit Card instantly by following these simple steps and enjoy several benefits:

Visit any branch: Head to your nearest branch and apply in person.
Call customer care: Alternatively, you can apply for a new card by calling customer care number 1800-1200-1200.

Charges- 150 + 18% gst


2. HDFC BANK-

For new customers - You can get rupay platinum card as default by applying for farmers account online

3. ICICI BANK

Icic rupay platinum card can be only issued by customer care. Call them and tell them to issue card. If they reject tell them to take a service complaint request about this card. After that you will see virtual rupay Platinum card in i mobile app and you will receive physical card in post.
Then it is important step. Never set ATM pin for new card through imobile app or through atm. Only use that card for online transaction. For online transaction don’t need pin. If we generate pin then issuance fees will be debited and old card will be automatically blocked.

By this way you can use your existing visa card plus rupay platinum card. For salary accounts both cards will be free

Go to bank account section in call and select talk to phone banking officer and request

Charges- 150+18% gst as per phone banking officer...



4. AXIS BANK-

For new customers - Axis republic salary account and easy access salary account holders will get this card by default.

For existing customers- you can either upgrade online in netbanking or call customer care for issuance on

1 - 860 - 419 - 5555

1 - 860 - 500- 5555

Not everyone gets option to upgrade in netbanking so you can call customer care.


Charges- Issuance fees 200+18%gst and same annual fees from second year onwards


5. TJSB bank issue Free RuPay Platinum debit card, Waiver in Debit Card AMC upto 1 year:

3.Add on card Rs 150 issuance
All card has Rs 150 annual fee

Existing customer - since sarkari bank so have to visit branch


10. FINCARE BANK

Apply for 101 priority account through this link with adhaar kyc. It only take 5 minutes. Virtual card can be viewed on their app. This account has 25k minimum balance. Don’t worry about it. Intial funding no need. It will automatically close after 1 year if we don’t do kyc. So 1 year we can loot amazon. 100*12= 1200 rs profit

11. EQUITAS BANK

Equitas bank issue RuPay Platinum card & Zero balance account:

First open online Equitas bank Selfe account – https://inet.equitasbank.com/...e/

Zero balance account,
virtual visa card (you need to visit bank branch to complete full KYC and issue RuPay Platinum debit card)
7% interest on saving account.

Balance in A/c XXXXXXXXXXXX as of 30-APR-21 EOD is INR 0.00, For any query call 1800-103-1222 . Check A/c for current balance . Credits in A/c are subject to clearing- Equitas Bank

Note – for RuPay Platinum, first complete full kyc from your nearest bank branch, then issue RuPay platinum debit card unless not.

Equitas bank issue RuPay platinum debit card via customer support on Selfe account.

Got RuPay platinum debit card, card issue charges – Rs118.

Note - after full kyc, they said its 10k acc but no charge if 0 balance

Yes grid card, International RuPay Platinum debit card (non-NFC).

Free for salary account.

Call - 1860 120 7777 and force them to issue RuPay card, if they reject to issue you RuPay card.

Note - ICICI support also told you some wrong info like online e-com is not supported, limit is 10k. Ignore everything. You will get same limit like Visa Platinum.

Just ask for RuPay card, you will get Platinum variant. ICICI dnt have any Classic RuPay card.

ICICI Customer service is really stupid ! 4 attempts and then finally got the SR no. 1st attempt- Number was not getting connected, 2nd attempt- waited for 14 minutes on call, he told I will not be able to issue Rupay DC, transferred the call to his officer, the officer didn't answer, call hanged up... 3rd Attempt- He knew about Rupay card but I was suspicious he will issue it for me, he told I have noted the details you will get the SR no within 5 to 10 mins, 1 hr passed, SR No. not received, neither showing in iMobile Pay, final 4th attempt- Told him the scene of 3rd attempt, he patiently raised the SR and told me to write, as well showing in iMobile Pay.

Person 1 - ICICI executive ask him too much ques like why you want RuPay card ? What's the use of RuPay card etc then he told i want RuPay card for my country. I love my India. Hai hind, Bharat Mata Ki Jai and loundly said "Vande Mataram" on call. No further questions asked and he got the RuPay card.

Person 2 - ICICI executive denied to issue him RuPay card. he told, im calling from PMO office. We are doing some survey, Modi Ji told us if any banks or customer executive denied to issue RuPay card then write down his name. Will take some action against those banks and customer executive, after hearing this, ICICI executive applied RuPay card for him.

Person 3 - He apply through offline. ICICI bank manager told him RuPay card is not available. He told him, If you do not issue Rupay card then I will complain against you to higher authority and also told him "Mai tumhara noukri kha jaunga, agar RuPay card nahi diye toh" the bank manager told him that I would talk to the product team and assured him that he would get the RuPay card. After few days he got RuPay card.

Mostly all visa/mastercard offer lounge access use that cards.

Already SBI and few other PSU banks, other govt banks stop issuing RuPay Platinum debit cards because customers misusing RuPay Platinum card lounge access services.

Existing people having RuPay platinum will still get the benefit!! Don't be scared they are big bank with big money...

There were rumor from RuPay that they will remove lounge access from platinum cards... So enjoy till it last, life is short

ICICI's core banking partner network is Visa card, ICICI always promote Visa card.

Banks always tieup with one card network to support, promote on all banking products.

If ICICI found bank facing some losses with RuPay card then ICICI bank discontinue issuing RuPay Platinum debit cards.

For example - Axis bank and Yes bank already discontinued RuPay Platinum debit card for saving account holders. Salary account RuPay Platinum is now optional.

ICICI Bank transactions are getting failed even tried multiple times with different dc, offer gets applied though. Also ICICI deliberately uses old ass ui for rupay payment gateway with no option to verify transaction amount.

P.S. Even UPI Transaction have been unreliable for me since yesterday.

I already used ICICI RuPay Platinum debit card today, successfully used.

Make sure your e-com is enabled and virtual card CVV number is incorrect, check correct CVV number from your physical card.
