Its a organic thread and will be kept updated as new information emerges. Banks are reluctant to issue rupay platinum card so in many banks you have to try multiple times. Best way to get is by calling customer care on call.

1. AU BANK-

For new customers- you will get Rupay platinum card by default on online digital account

For existing customers-

Apply for a RuPay Platinum Debit Card instantly by following these simple steps and enjoy several benefits:

Visit any branch: Head to your nearest branch and apply in person.
Call customer care: Alternatively, you can apply for a new card by calling customer care number 1800-1200-1200.

2. HDFC BANK-

For new customers - You can get rupay platinum card as default by applying for farmers account online

3. ICICI BANK

Icic rupay platinum card can be only issued by customer care. Call them and tell them to issue card. If they reject tell them to take a service complaint request about this card. After that you will see virtual rupay Platinum card in i mobile app and you will receive physical card in post.
Then it is important step. Never set ATM pin for new card through imobile app or through atm. Only use that card for online transaction. For online transaction don’t need pin. If we generate pin then issuance fees will be debited and old card will be automatically blocked.

By this way you can use your existing visa card plus rupay platinum card. For salary accounts both cards will be free

4. AXIS BANK-

For new customers - Axis republic salary account and easy access salary account holders will get this card by default.

For existing customers- you can either upgrade online in netbanking or call customer care for issuance on

Not everyone gets option to upgrade in netbanking so you can call customer care.

Intial funding no need. It will automatically close after 1 year if we don’t do kyc. So 1 year we can loot amazon. 100*12= 1200 rs profit

11. EQUITAS BANK

Equitas bank issue RuPay Platinum card & Zero balance account:

virtual visa card (you need to visit bank branch to complete full KYC and issue RuPay Platinum debit card)

3 RuPay Platinum cards - IDFC, UCO Virtual DC, Equitas failing at night. IDFC failing before going to OTP/payment gateway page and returning to Amazon payment failed page (just like Canara Bank was failing a few months ago). Equitas failing despite entering OTP and money not getting deducted. Hopefully these two will work during the day or on subsequent Fridays.

Rest ALL worked for me. @pprakash11 Does UCO Virtual DC require some kind of activation or 24 hour waiting period? I set its green PIN today, card generated on Wed. Maybe eCOM transactions need to be enabled for it. But in the UCO app trying to adjust any of its settings from UCO Digi Safe section results in "Unexpected error". Does it work for you, what settings you changed?

SBI JCB is now a lost cause. Might be worth hotlisting. But SBI is not issuing any other type of RuPay Platinum debit card right now, correct? Only the ones issued earlier like IOCP/IRP work. Really a trap.

Same changing any settings showed Unexpected Error in Uco app. I am not able to do even UCo Primary physical card also. Redirecting to same page. yes, ECOM activation is required, as my payment got declined for Virtual DC.

My ICICI RuPay card was not working at 2:00 am (otp page was not open) but after 3:17 am card working (i remove the card and add again).

Trying now, ICICI Rupay not working. 3 times failed, seems will have to try next week.

Try every few hours, we dnt know when card will work or not.

Also remember every friday at 12 am, mostly all cards working perfectly.

Another trick is that retry your old order at saturday night, you old pending order will give Rs100 off on saturday night.

I tried with my parents UCO bank account. Generated a virtual card, but payment declined due Ecom channel not enabled. When I tried enabling Ecom from the UCO mbanking app, i got an error. Will try again next week.

Yesterday another person got Kotak bank RuPay Platinum -

Everyday saving account is effectively zero balance, if you do 30 transactions per month.

My canara bank debit card started showing "Request Processed Successfully" from 26th sept, but still the card is not dispatched.

Online I can see the debit card number starting with "6522".

Should I raise a concern somewhere for the card dispatch?

Any account will do. For me, they opened "No Frills" account as the UCO app says which I think may be 0-balance, BSBDA or account with limited number of credit transactions. PSU banks readily issue RuPay Platinum unlike private sector banks. You can't open it online, go to the branch to open it. It's a painful process. Had to go once for account opening form. Then they send a letter to your home address for address verification. Take that letter and go again. At that time, apply for RuPay Platinum card by filling form. Then card will come to your home address. Then go to UCO branch and tell them to activate it. After 24 hours it will be activated. Then go yet again to UCO ATM to set green PIN on it. Then after 24 hours, I could enable ecommerce transactions on it. All this in the name of "security".
