Its a organic thread and will be kept updated as new information emerges. Banks are reluctant to issue rupay platinum card so in many banks you have to try multiple times. Best way to get is by calling customer care on call.

1. AU BANK-

For new customers- you will get Rupay platinum card by default on online digital account

For existing customers-

Apply for a RuPay Platinum Debit Card instantly by following these simple steps and enjoy several benefits:

Visit any branch: Head to your nearest branch and apply in person.
Call customer care: Alternatively, you can apply for a new card by calling customer care number 1800-1200-1200.

Charges- 150 + 18% gst

For new customers - You can get rupay platinum card as default by applying for farmers account online

3. ICICI BANK

Icic rupay platinum card can be only issued by customer care. Call them and tell them to issue card. If they reject tell them to take a service complaint request about this card. After that you will see virtual rupay Platinum card in i mobile app and you will receive physical card in post.
Then it is important step. Never set ATM pin for new card through imobile app or through atm. Only use that card for online transaction. For online transaction don’t need pin. If we generate pin then issuance fees will be debited and old card will be automatically blocked.

By this way you can use your existing visa card plus rupay platinum card. For salary accounts both cards will be free

Go to bank account section in call and select talk to phone banking officer and request

Charges- 150+18% gst as per phone banking officer...



4. AXIS BANK-

For new customers - Axis republic salary account and easy access salary account holders will get this card by default.

For existing customers- you can either upgrade online in netbanking or call customer care for issuance on

1 - 860 - 500- 5555

Not everyone gets option to upgrade in netbanking so you can call customer care.


Charges- Issuance fees 200+18%gst and same annual fees from second year onwards

Apply for 101 priority account through this link with adhaar kyc. It only take 5 minutes. Virtual card can be viewed on their app. This account has 25k minimum balance. Don’t worry about it. Intial funding no need. It will automatically close after 1 year if we don’t do kyc. So 1 year we can loot amazon. 100*12= 1200 rs profit

Equitas bank issue RuPay Platinum card & Zero balance account:

This card does not support online transactions I guess.. Its atm card.... Only for withdrawal of money

But the one on left has NFC. Should it not be working as normal debit card? Why give NFC for ATM withdrawal only card?

But axis is very notorious in giving rewards... I HAVe heard from friends that they dont give weekend 5% cb of liberty debit cards that easily.. They have to contact multiple times...

Maybe... As axis rupay card is very rare.... They give nothing less tha secure plus.... By default.... Except two accounts... Republic salary and easy access salary

This is true, I had issues with even my cc joining benefits.

I am also yet to get any edge points for my transactions of secure plus debit card... Waiting for month emd then will complain

Niyox is a neobank account... And this equitas selfie is proper bank account... I dont think thats possible...

Jana small finanace Bank RuPay Platinum Debit card -​

1.Open account from this link - https://janadigi.com/onboarding/welcome
2.Only choose video kyc. Do only during branch hours
3.During video kyc ask them to send only Platinum rupay card
4.Issuence charges is 199 only. If funded with 25k issuence is free
5.This account is 1000 minimum balance
6.intial funding is 2.5k can be withdraw
(Only open account during branch hours. Then only you will get video kyc . Or else you will end up getting RuPay classic varient)

Warning - One person also share his bad experience, i will share you this because if you guys also face this problem then dnt blame me but other users also have good experience

He told me -

Process is 100% online.. if done between 9am and 6pm, process will take less than 15 minutes.. I completed VKYC for both myself and my mother..

During VKYC (both times) the assisting bank staff rejected our request for DigiGen account (a million excuses – its a limited account, min KYC account, 365 days deactivation etc.. ).. finally agreed to give Regular Account with 2.5K AMB ( free personalised RPD Card only if first load is 25K )

After 2 min of VKYC got load link in SMS, loaded 25K in both accounts.. activated MBanking and IBanking using CRN and DoB (yes you do not need debit card to activate these).. then I NEFTED out 50K (25K from both) to my existing HDFC account..

Now both accounts have 0 bal.. app says – “Regular Savings Account”..

Next day - Both (myself and mom) got call ( on registered mobile ) from allotted home branch.. they said VKYC signature mismatch (PAN signature is not clear, hence unable to verify white paper signature)..

Both of us are asked to visit branch with original pan and aadhaar..

Allotted branch is 16KM away.. fortunately I was able to flush 25K ( from both accounts ).. planning to forget about both accounts

Sorry, i meant to say, when you ask for RuPay debit card on customer support, ICICI bank by default issue RuPay Platinum debit card.

What damn ? i generate 1000+ virtual BOB RuPay Platinum debit cards.
One person told me he generate 3000+ virtual BOB RuPay Platinum debit card (actualy he used multiple BOB accounts).

Now If 200 card is damn then what you call for 1000+ and 3000+ cards ?

Philhal toh best bank ha for Virtual RuPay Platinum debit card, add in your post.

Zero balance acc and 29+GST charges also removed.

Customer Care already tried, they were not able to assist. Alternatively have already dropped a note to PNO explaining all these. Let's see.

Branch option, haven't tried yet. Will see. Too reluctant to walk in to a branch .

Ok, send a mail to nodal officer or Axis bank CEO.

Actually, one person got RuPay Platinum debit card from Yes bank after he send a mail to yes bank CEO.

Ofcourse, Yes bank and Axis bank both are different bank but both banks dnt easily issue RuPay Platinum debit card to customers.
