I applied for the IDFC Power+ card, but my application was rejected. When I inquired about the reason, I received the following explanation:
"The PAN number recorded in the bureau is ENXXXX6N, whereas the PAN on your application is AKXXXX06Q. Additionally, the bureau's records show that this PAN is registered under a third party (Amit Kumar Sahu)."
After escalating the matter via email to the Nodal Officer, I was informed that a different Aadhaar is attached to my CIBIL record and was advised to contact the CIBIL bureau directly. I am now uncertain how to proceed further.
It is also noteworthy that I was approved for a home loan just six months ago from same bank without any such issues.
