Reward points on government transactions - latest as on August 2024!

Apply For Lifetime Free IDFC First Credit Card
Try if you can via income tax website. Such high payment will definitely ring bells if you are able to get rewards. So be prepared to justify this as a personal spend if you use personal cards.
 
Apply For LTF AU LIT Credit Card
Still looking for a solution.. Surprisingly got rejected for Amazon ICICI card despite being a ICICI wealth relationship holder and having multiple CC with highest limit of 25L. Go figure!
 
Most banks will automatically flag 45L worth of txns as business expense and block the card as well as rollback any reward points, particularly given this is tax payment. Split the amount into multiple smaller txns spread across multiple cards and aim for milestone benefits rather than points

There aren't much cards left now whoch provide milestone benefits on government spend. Pretty much all of them exclude it.

Exception would be amex plat travel.
