Rewards for spending more than credit limit

Hi everyone,

Will we get rewards for spending more than credit card limit?

For Ex,

1. If my Amazon ICICI credit card limit is 1.5Lakhs and I spend 2L on Amazon for laptop by paying 50K advance payment will I get 5% Cashback for 2L?
2. If my Axis Vistara Infinite card limit is 1.5 lakhs and I spend 2L on Vistara Airlines by paying 50k advance payment will I get CV points for 2L spends?

1) Even if you pay in advance, you will have to pay overlimit charges that is 2.50% of the over-limit amount with a minimum of ₹500

As far as I know you should get the cashback but it's better if you confirm it from the customer care

Card limit is for total outstanding amount. So you can utilise any card multiple times by making advance payments.
