Rewards for the month when billing cycle is changed

My Airtel Axis billing date is 12th of every month. Today I requested to change it to 1st of every month. It is successfully changed. They said next statement will be genereted on Nov-01. So, transactions done from today (Sep-14) to Oct-31 (1.5 months) will be considered as one billing cycle and has same cashback limits of the card per month?
