Regalia Gold Rewards Points capping for 5k per month.

hi,

I was planning to buy electronic items from reliance digital. I wanted to know how many point I would earn if I spend a Lakh in Reliance Digital with 5X. I sent a mail seeking details for HDFC.

There is a cap of 5k per month for 5x points spendings.
So, even if we spend a lakh, we will get only 5000 points + base points.

as per this link, the monthly cap is RP 4000 and daily cap is RP2000

this is for regular smartbuy categories, regalia on selected merchants (online or offline) provides 5x and that is max. 5k mentioned in MITC.

smartbuy limits is separate for every hdfc card... consider this "additional benefits"

card itself providing benefits like regular rewards, accelarated rewards, milestones etc. this is we get from card and it has its own limits.

for any hdfc card...

card benefits + smartbuy.

btw, 5x on selected merchants for regalia gold is card benefit.

is that means every month we can get 9000 points ??

mark&Spencer, myntra, nyka, reliance digital (or any other partner they decide time to time) provides 5x if you buy directly through them. Which has 5k cap, later its 1x rewards.

smartbuy is additional platform for hdfc cards to earn extra on their cards, it has its own max limits based on the card. For regalia gold its 4k cap, later its 0.

base rewards has no cap.

so, with smartbuy its 4k + card benefits wise its 5k + anything extra will be base rewards.
