Yesterday nVidia launched the RTX 5xx series and the top card got a price hike of $400 (4090 was launched for $1599 in Oct2022), however 5080 is priced at $999 (200$ less) whereas $4080 was launched for $1199 in Nov2022
The main focus will be on 5060 series and they have already phased out 3xx series and below series and stopped manufacturing of 4060 series (whose stocks are getting dried up from Nov2024 end itself) so clear move by nVidia to push the latest 5xx series and earn more profit, expecting nVidia share to rise by atleast 50-60% in the next 2-3 quarters and reach 250$ as the demand for supplying GPUs for AI work has increased and worst for us would be scalpers intervention as crypto is also poised to increase this year so this 1999$ is just MSRP and worst case might go to even 4000$ 😌
Below are the official Indian pricing of the 5xx cards;
The GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 will be available on January 30th, priced at USD 1,999 (Rs. 1,71,285 approx.) / Rs. 2,14,000 in India and USD 999 (Rs. 85,600 approx.) / Rs. 1,07,000 in India, respectively.
The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 will be available in February, priced at USD 749 (Rs. 64,180 approx.) / Rs. 80,000 in India and USD 549 (Rs. 47,040 approx.) / Rs. 59,000 in India, respectively.
