Time to close my AU Rupay Platinum DC, no use after the airport lounge access devaluation and they have increased the AF from 177 to 236.
Already have multiple RPDCs, even NSDL will be cheaper to use than AU.
AU Rupay Platinum lost its charm.

I have UnionBank RPDC. I just came to know that you can apply for Virtual DC through Vyom app. If I apply for the Virtual DC, will that card be a RPDC? In the app itself it doesnt tell you what type/variant of card you have.
Also, my wife has UnionBank Platinum DC but its Visa. It was reissued last year after the previous one expired. So I would like to know if its possible to request the bank to close the Visa card and issue a Rupay card? Or if I can get a second card without closing the first one (which I would close anyways after getting the 2nd one)

Mera Already Free hai 99+GST charge nahi kiya IDFC.

I got a 4K Welcome Bonus pretty first on the same day of doing the transaction.
4K matches with my Account Variant. When I upgrade my account to Wealth/Private will I get another Firstap card or it will remain the same?
If same, will I miss the Welcome Bonus, or will I ask for a replacement at that time?
