I opened union account because my company requires all employees to have a union account for salary credit ,and we have a branch on campus

I'm not sure about what happens when i leave my current job and the salary stops,maybe they'll downgrade my account(Rupay Select Debit Card will become paid instead of being free right now)
or i might have to maintain some Minimum MAB in account
But the Rupay select debit card will stay regardless

Applied for Indian Bank Select DC on 17th Feb, Saturday- took less than 5mins- had to fill 1 page form with Name, Acc Number, Check Box to Issue Debit Card and in Comment Field write Rupay Select DC.
AM Guided in all this. Also was concerned about fee and asked me if I specifically wanted this and also WHY? No queue. (Location- New Delhi)

Fee deducted on 21st Feb, Monday (1k+GST). Card delivered on 26th Feb, Monday via Speed Post, no tracking details were messaged to me either by the bank or India Post. Return address is address of branch, so there is some solace knowing one can collect from branch if delivery missed.

ETA: yet to set pin, gotta go to ATM to do that. So, still to avail any offers- can't comment on those as of now.

I just went to the branch to request to open salary account. They said to open online. I have already tried to open before a few months. So I had passport size photo, aadhar and PAN copies of less than 50 kb already as that was the maximum size I think. So I filled the form online and I got reference number. I showed it to them to open the account. The gave a form to fill and I filled it and submitted it. They totally took 3 weeks to complete the process and I went again to complete it. I have visa signature debit card and virtual rupay select debit card now

No they must ask something. Payslip or offer letter. You can't open a salary account with out your employment proof. In some branches they won't open if no tie up

You can only generate the reference number but account will not be opened online

I have salary account in category as Gold . I am from Govt sector(RSP -Railway Salary Package) By default, i will only get Gold International debit card with 0 fee. But can i visit branch and request for RUPAY PLATINUM SELECT debit card ?? And i think rhodium is for corporate employees.. in their website ,its showing RUPAY PLATINUM CARD & MASTERCARD PLATINUM CARD. WHAT does RPA CODE mean ?
