Anyone who's having a joint account in BOB as Mahila Shakti, kindly confirm if we can apply the RSDC at the branch while opening the account offline. I am planning to open this account with my mother as the primary account holder.

 

Yeah video kyc is good.
We will get account details on the same day.
We also get netbanking activation sms within 1 to 3 days,we can click forget password option to generate password and login into netbanking.

Now dc apply option removed in netbanking . This is gonna tricky. Previously we used to apply dcs using netbanking only.

But from netbanking we can register for mobile banking. I think this gives access to mobile app. Then We can apply desired dcs.

For the safe side, as they removed dc option in netbanking, select dc while opening account if u cant visit branch.
If u can't succeed to app through netbanking, u can use dc to login atleast. However i dont recommend this.

Make sure to deposit 20k.

I opened the BOB Super Savings Account (SB 117) online on 2nd September 2024. I received the CIF and Account Number via SMS and the welcome letter by email on the same day within 3 to 4 hours. After that, I needed to log in to my BOB World App to Order my Sapphire DC.

Timeline: Account Open (02/09/24) - Net and Mobile Banking Login (02/09/24) - Rupay Platinum DC(03/09/24) - Ordered Sapphire DC (04/09/24) - Welcome Kit Delivered with Rupay Platinum DC (10/09/24)

I guess I should be able to have the MAB 20K considering I keep enough balance at the start of the month for my Home Loan EMI.
Any way to convert online without visiting branch?

Yes you can. I applied for 2 accounts. One with zero balance, even before depositing IP.

What logic branch is giving for not allowing two seperate DC? ...(for joint account with equal rights).

And it must be customers choice which DC a customer want to take.

Yes, RSDC can be applied via the app or the branch.
