did they ask for address proof?

Obviously, gave the aadhaar card and verified thru otp. Even they were asking for reference from an existing customer which I denied and after arguing with BM, they opened the account without reference.

Opened account in TMB yesterday by visiting the branch and after 2 hours account got activated, received details to login in mobile banking. 1180 is put on hold for RSDC, hope it will delivered soon. 🤞

Yeah hold will be debited once dc activated..
You should have told them to disable sms alerts while opening account itself

oh my aadhar address is different from current address,thats why asking..Do you have any idea whether other bank's passbook/statement will be counted as valid address proff?

I dont think so, rent agreement or gas bill or ebill might work

Apni payr mein kudhadi marna hai toh kijiye. Main kaun hota hun aapko rokne k liye. Jo Mann hai kijiye.

I get it @Ram1 wants to help and I know him very well, he helps everyone. For now, I think let's keep some information here only and why not let any new comer make some efforts to get information from here.

Also when we easily get information, I have seen folks don't repect or value how much effort it actually takes to find these benefits, how to get these in every bank account. So, commendable job @Ram1 ❤️ and @2025 is just pointing to this.

I think @2025 is correct here, may be some information shouldn't be given like spoon feeding. Let newbies put some efforts like we all did.
