Same card number for addon card

Hello,

I recently got HDFC infinia card along with addon card. The card details for the addon card is exactly the same (Card number, expiry and CVV).
1. Is this normal?
2. If I change the pin for primary card, is it also changed for addon card?
3. Will I be able to use it as a separate card in Amazon/Flipkart sale?

Suppose if u and ur partner go on intl trip then lounge at international airport will allow u and partner both together with ur priority pass 8 times in an year I meant

For primary card its unlimited access using PP even for international lounges. U can take 8 guest entries free of charge using same PP

Axis addon, although has different cc number, the otp comes to the primary card phone number.

Even BoB comes on primary card holder in my case. How did you change it to add on card holder number?

For me also SBI & BOB OTP goes to ADD ON card holder number. Did not make any specific request. While filling the form filled ADD ON card holder number

If you see my previous post i have clearly mentioned its only for primary card holder. For add on there is no separate PP and if they are traveling with primary card holder then PP can be used for their guest entry ( 8 times free in a year)

No. Primary and addon otp comes to the same number. But for @ARV, primary otp comes to primary and addon otp comes to addon number.

Same with us for inifinia PP. At least the names are different.

Another question, with magnus PP, would the lounge allow swiping the same PP twice for 2 (or more people)?

Yes for regalia the cap for intl free usage is 6 per year in pp even its both together we can use thrice.
Magnus pp reg, yes there will be 1 PP on main card and on a intl visit 1 swipe free for main holder and 8 times free for guests swipe its fine if its with same trip/same lounge also, but if exceeds 8 guest is chargeable.

Can Regalia add-on cards be used along with the Primary card for domestic lounge access? I'm traveling with my mom and dad and they both have separate add-on cards (but with the same card number) and wanted to check if we can all access the lounge together. Not able to find a clear answer to this question anywhere. I called up customer care and got 'yes' and 'no' as answers on separate calls 😅

Generally, if Card number is different for Add-on, then you can get OTP on a separate number. As SBI and AXIS give separate card number, person with add-on card will get OTP on different number but the same is not possible with HDFC.

In cases like HDFC, You CAN use apps like Tasker (in android) which forwards the OTP to your add-on card holder's number but there is a huge risk anyway.

You can swipe primary + 2 add-on cards one after the other (if you have free quota left) as Regalia doesn't have quarterly limits (please confirm again).

This would have caused issues in cards like Millennia which have 2 access per quarter where the 3rd swipe would be charged even if your yearly quota was not exausted.
