Yes it creates issue. I am facing same issue with canara bank because two different customer profiles are linked with same mobile number. Not necessarily as for e.g. axis burgundy support and few others doesn't have any IVR based validation if you are calling from registered mobile number, it goes straight to customer executive directly authenticating the customerYes it creates issue. But if OP doesn't want App access, then it's easily possible through branch.
Connecting with IVR will not be such a big issue, as IVR asks you to validate through DOB, Account number, customer ID, Debit card, credit card Which will different for both accounts even though they are linked to same mobile number.
Not necessary. 2 accounts can be linked to one mobile number. Just that this has to be done through offline /branch. Only problem is when interacting with customer care , correct channel of communication must be used.Yes, possible if other a/c is joint
