Sapphiro LTF CC to Emeralde LTF (!upgrade)

Being shameless I recently asked ICICI to upgrade my Sapphiro LTF CC to Emeralde LTF

I have never seen a glass half empty, I was so excited to get Emeralde LTF for sure. Here the email I received from ICICI.


Well this seems fine right, perhaps they want to talk to me. So I called them after verifying my details 5 times (card number, OTP, CVV, dob, and finally PIN), as they say ICICI is very secure as you can see. Well after talking for 5mins he told me that the upgrade is possible if you have the offer showing on the app but I don't. I begged him to do something about it but he denied it.

I felt the same. I chose not to verify using PIN and to use OTP process instead but I got to verify all in a single call. IDK what was happening, what kind of AI agent they are using. sus.

Hello guys. I wanted to ask you something.
My sister has ICICI coral ltf and its add-on and an Amazon CC with a 4.3L limit on them.
My sister doesn't need the add-on card anymore and is looking for an upgrade too.
Her bank app is showing an upgrade to sapphiro but not ltf.
Hence, I wanted to ask you the procedure to get the extra card deactivated and if possible how to ask them for credit card upgrade with ltf.
My sister has a salary account with them since last 3yrs with a credit above 1lac.

I am literally fighting and threatening them not to convert my LTF Accelero to Paid HPCL ( I am desperate and probably they know that as its my oldest active CC).
The lack of empathy despite holding LTF Coral, Rubyx and Sapphiro they are going to charge me for this minuscule card. Tried RM/Twitter/PNO.


If they make me pay for this converted CC as there is an active EMI; I am more than certain to make my ICICI account 0MAB and try to avoid using their cards as much as possible.


HDFC do not entertain request but they do not bully like how ICICI been acting lately.

Check with pno if they agree CVV is needed for validation of identity you are not making a financial transaction.

I am aware of it. That's why I was surprised that it asked for CVV. Anyway, I don't use these cards and been keeping it inactive for all sorts of txns and I had to take the shot as well 😛

My friend don't share your cvv and pin even if it's IVR call for a safer side these days. I personally feel sharing cvv and card pin to a person is not at all correct practice. Please take this as a friendly note

Hi bro checked it just now. I was having LTF upgrade to dual AMEX and Mastercard RUBYX.
I have applied it, and have also emailed my RM regarding this if they could do Sapphiro LTF
