SBI Card application process?

I applied for SBI Prime card on 11/03/25 through offline SBI card executive, got 4 verification calls in 3 days after that one guy came for work address verification and to my surprise he again came for verification after 2 days and asked me whether I applied for another card ( which I haven’t) because earlier he has done the verification but still got 2nd time verification.

Today ( 17/03/25) I got a sms -

“Your SBI Card Application 2xxxxxxxx will be processed within 9 working days. Please keep this App. no. for future reference. You can check your application status at www.sbicard.com”

It’s been 6 days, does that mean my application is on verge of getting declined or it’s still unclear ?

How it's pre Approved???

She is not able to understand why it's declined 😕

sbi executive preapproved = we found that you're a suitable candidate to use sbicards.

not confuse with other banks pre-approved. Its more or like, "we found ur resume on naukri, would u be interested".

As per my Knowledge if declined in varification failed 6 months is cooling period most of other rejection after 3 months .

offline after 1 month, online 3 to 6 months.

Applied cashback card online, application shows we will need more information our agent will contact you.
After three days, I got call from sbi that have you applied cashback.
I said yes, they said we are currently n9t issuing cashback credit card if you want another we can proceed.
I denied for another card.
Is true that sbi stopped issuing new cashback card?

its true that agent bluffed you and aim for their commission in other cards (mostly bpcl or simplyclick etc.), and btw its happenning since Cashback launched (2 years back). yOur answer they expect "no, I applied cashback card and I want that, process it and let me know if you need anything on my side"
