Sbi card apply through agent, branch or online

Maintaining a salary account in sbi since ages. I got a call from same city agent telling he has got some recommended names for sbi card and asked me to visit to apply for the same if interested.
He must have got details from my home branch for sure.
Should i apply through that agent or branch itself? I need higher limit that's it. I can provide all docs(govt job profile).
Although the agent seemed knowledgeable on call.

Regardless of how you apply, the limit will only be decided by the back end team. Mode of application should not have an impact on the final limit that you get.

And the convience while applying or verification?
If there's no difference then the agent way would be better coz he would be more attentive.

Yeah, unless you want to apply Cashback credit card, you can apply through agent.

Please note that you can use Cashkaro cashback depending on the card that you're going to apply. The same is not possible if you do it via agent. You should factor in Cashkaro CB before deciding on it.

Yes, this is preapproved for you.

Sbi giving preapproved card by this way to many SB/salary account customers. Go for it if you want a SBI card but you can't get cashback card by this process.

No, not possible

Because there are no cashback card select option for agents. You can get any other card except that.

One pro tip: if this is your 1st SBI card and you currently have a good credit history then go for a premium card like prime...etc as your wish, for which you will get higher credit limit. After that call customer care and change your card to entry level if you want.

You mean from SBI Prime to SBI CB? How soon after receiving the card can he request a downgrade? What about the joining fee? Does he not have to pay that?

They issued a SimplyCLICK Mastercard even though I had requested the Visa variant.
Took around a week to get the card delivered. Limit is too less.
