SBI Card has announced important updates for cardholders:
1. Finance Charges: Starting November 1, 2024, finance charges will be revised to 3.75% per month on all unsecured SBI Credit Cards, applicable to retail and cash transactions (excluding Shaurya/Defense cards).
2. Utility Payments Fee: From December 1, 2024, a fee of 1% will be charged on utility payments exceeding Rs. 50,000 in a billing cycle. Utility payments will be identified using Merchant Category Code 4900.
