sbi cashback card apply on sbi elite

TF Premier
I have an SBI SimplyClick credit card, which is 8 years old. I recently got an SBI Elite LTF (two week ago), which actually replaced my SBI SimplyClick. So, I'm not sure how old my card will be considered now. I want to apply for an SBI Cashback card. I applied for it a year ago, but it got rejected for an unknown reason. I currently have a credit limit of 2.6 lakhs on my SBI Elite card.
Here are my questions:
1. Can I get a new card with this credit limit, even after do I have a premium card?
2. What are the key points I should keep in mind while applying for the new card?
3. Should I apply through the Sprint website or an agent (as Sprint doesn't work in iOS)?
4. Do you have any important steps or tips to increase my chances of getting the new card approved?
5. should I wait between the recently issued card and applying for a new card on SBI?

You can apply via sprint or can take refferal of any community members...

Now my question is that...
How you got the elite LTF ?

1. Yes, 2.6L is great. No problem with Elite card.
2. Only thing I can think of is that you recently got a card 2 weeks ago. My second hand knowledge says, you need to wait 3 months, but I will still suggest to give it a try from the Sprint website. If it fails, anyway you need to wait for 3 months.
3. Sprint website only. If you approach agent , they too will apply on your behalf, from the same Sprint website. There is no Sprint app AFAIK, only website.
4. To increase your chances:
I hope you don't have too many cards with high Credit limits, SBI has a habit of rejecting due to 'over-leverage'. If you have too many CIBIL hits in the last few months, it may (or may not) become a problem. Hope you have good CIBIL profile with no defaults and high score, eg:770+
5. Same as in #2

PS: If you want, you can use my referral in my signature and apply from Sprint site. (₹500 amazon voucher after 90 days, for both you & me).
Also, Cashkaro app/website gives more cashback (usually ₹1000+ after 60-90 days), if you want you can apply via that.
