SBI CC Application Issue/Fraud with Agent

Hi all,

So a SBI agent called me and was offering me simplyclick LTF.
I asked I am interested only for Cashback LTF and he agreed to it. I was okay and shared him the details.

After half of the process was over and my cibil was checked, he told me primary customers can't get Cashback LTF, I should apply for simplyclick LTF and he will transfer my card to Cashback within 24hrs. I was done at that point, once I accept any card his incentive is over what is the guarantee that he'll help me.

I blocked him thereafter but now my doubt is, will this cibil hit affect me? Should I do anything about my card application with SBI or let it be?
Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

The cibil hit will not affect much. But still you want to remove the same. You can drop mail to sbi cc with above justification. And also raise dispute from cibil website as well. It will get removed as reason is valid.

Leave that cibil enquiry and live with peace of mind.
Don't go after that SBI for enquiry removal.

And ur sbi card application will be automatically rejected due to no kyc. You don't have to do anything

Actually video kyc was also done, the next step was something and then card selection. I stopped after video kyc.

Ok then formally drop a mail to sbi cards, explain the issue and ask to discard the application as it was misselling and ask to remove cibil enquiry if possible.

Better continue with application and keep that card for sales discounts. SBI Cashback isn't eligible for instant discounts and can be applied online only.
